Acting Up

Overview

Looking for new exciting games to introduce to your setting? Then this workshop is for you. The workshop provides a variety of games to spark children's creativity and imagination. It can help children build their confidence and self esteem as they take part in a variety of games. Taking part in pairs and groups and exploring drama and stories in an active way.

A 2 hour workshop delivered at a Trainiing Centre or in an out of school club.

Aims

To introduce tools to encourage acting and storrytelling in a play setting

Participants will:

  • Take part in a variety of drama activities
  • Identify ways to encourage children and young people to built their confidence and self esteem - having a lot of funalong the way.

​This workshop can be delivered to Playworkers at a training centre or as "on the job" training in your out of school club whilst you are working.

  • Reflecting on session and current practice.
