Camau
Do you want to increase your use of Welsh but do not know where to start? Help is at hand.
For those of you who would like to, or are already learning Welsh, having the confidence to practice can be a great barrier. Don’t worry, help is at hand!Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs will support you with the terminology that you can use every day.
How will we help you?
The key is just to give Welsh a go – there’s no need to worry about not being perfect, using mutations, tenses or anything technical, just use what you have and have fun trying.
Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs, as Cwlwm partners, are part of the Work Welsh Project. Our Welsh Language Co-ordinators are on hand to support you on your journey with bespoke practical online support sessions tailored to you.
We are also working in partnership with the National Centre for Learning Welsh and their CAMAU project. The project’s aim is to train Childcare and Playwork practitioners, through online self-study Welsh language courses specially designed to support the workforce to use Welsh in their workplace, this can be achieved alongside your day-to-day role or other training. We will help to enrol you or your staff on a course and provide support throughout the learning.
If your setting would like to access the fully funded Camau course please get in touch with our Welsh Language Support Officers.
Our support coupled with the CAMAU course will enable you to increase your use of Welsh by helping you to grow in confidence and skill.
“Thank you so much for all your help with using more Welsh in our setting, we appreciate the support that has been given so far and are looking forward to the next stage of our Welsh language development. Thank you!!”
