Childcare & Early Years Small Capital Grant Scheme 2026-27 

Childminders and childcare providers in Rhondda Cynon Taf are invited to apply for funding to support improvements to their settings. Grants can be used for essential capital works or equipment that helps expand childcare places, enhance learning environments, and strengthen Welsh-medium provision.  

To be eligible, settings must be based in Rhondda Cynon Taf, be registered (or working towards registration) with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW), be committed to delivering Welsh Government funded childcare programmes for at least five years and be registered with the Family Information Service (FIS) and DEWIS.
