Making sure your staff training is up to date is of paramount importance when running an Out of School Childcare Club.

Access free courses and ensure your team are up to date via the UK Government website.

There are a range of levels for you and your team and as this falls under Safeguarding it is important to ensure you individually access the correct and appropriate levels within your staff team.

• Course 1 – Awareness level

This can be accessed for all staff within your Club

• Course 2 – Referrals course

This can be accessed for all staff, however, especially designed for Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL)

Your team can also keep updated with refresher courses via the website.

Certificates of completion are provided, and you can support your team with their Continuous Profession Development (CPD).

If you require further support around Safeguarding, contact our team for a Safeguarding Health Check.  We will help to review your current Safeguarding position and provide a follow up action plan for you and your team to work through.  This can also be used to inform the Quality-of-Care report and ensure you are achieving the National Minimum Standards (NMS)
