Safeguarding Week 2024

Taking place from the 11th to the 15th November 2024.

Safeguarding is part of all elements of Out of School Childcare Clubs.

 

Ensure you review your practice, contact your Childcare Business Development Officer to find out how we can support you with our Safeguarding Health Check.

 

You can also access free training through the WCVA if you are part of a voluntary organisation in Wales.

WCVA – Safeguarding for Trustees

This webinar will discuss safeguarding responsibilities of trustees
It will cover:
– Their duties under the Charity Commission and charity registration
– The requirements and understanding of safeguarding from the Social Services and Well-Being (Wales) Act
– Expectations placed upon Trustees to lead their organisational safeguarding, sufficient oversight
– Practical steps to include policies, reporting and training
