Hours: 16 per week, Monday – Friday, during term time, after school hours.

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Qualifications / experience required:

Essential:

• Postholder should have a Level 3 or higher Playwork Qualification or similar.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player attitude
• Passion for creating a positive and engaging environment for children
• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the children

Desirable

• Previous experience within a childcare setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Club Manager and peers in supervising and engaging with children
• Ensure that the club operates in accordance with the National Minimum
• Standards and Regulations set by the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW).
• Help to plan and implement activities (aged from 4-12 years old) that promote development while considering Health and Safety aspects
• Provide a light snack and drink to the children
• Tidy away at the end of the night
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organised play area
• Build positive relationships with children and their families
• Adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure safety and compliance
