A BIG celebration for Welsh in childcare!

We’re absolutely delighted to share some fantastic news!

The Welsh Language Commissioner’s Hybu Team has formally recognised and trusted Cwlwm Partners’ assessment of the Welsh Promise Gold award.

This is a huge vote of confidence in the Welsh Promise — and in the incredible work being done by childcare settings and providers across Wales to make Welsh a natural, everyday part of children’s experiences.

Bronze. Silver. Gold.
Every Welsh Promise journey represents commitment, progress and ambition for the Welsh language.

And achieving Gold is now recognised by the Welsh Language Commissioner as a clear demonstration of an organisation’s commitment to providing services in Welsh — without needing to obtain the Cynnig Cymraeg separately.

Llongyfarchiadau mawr to every setting and provider working towards, achieving and championing their Welsh Promise!

Your commitment is helping create environments where children can hear, use and enjoy Welsh every day — and that is something truly worth celebrating.

Together, we’re growing Welsh in childcare.
Together, we’re creating a stronger future for Cymraeg.
