Dear colleague,

I am delighted to share with you that our Training Team were the worthy winners of the Professional Development Award at this year’s National Playwork conference.

As you know, here are Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs we have a Training Team that are incredibly enthusiastic and passionate about the Playwork sector and upskilling the workforce to use a playwork approach in all areas of their life not just their professional one. The training that they deliver has a huge impact on learners’ thinking and the way that they view play and their role as Playworkers.

I am delighted that they have been recognised for their hard work and we are honoured to be awarded the Professional Development Award 2025.

I am so proud of the work that the organisation does to support Playwork and the Out of School Childcare sector in Wales, and so grateful that Dawn, our National Training Manager, and her team have been recognised for the hard work that they do.
