Children’s Commissioner for Wales – Survey Results on Break/Play Times
Every month, the Children’s Commissioner is asking children for their views and voices on different topics through short surveys. All of the findings to these surveys can be found below.
Last May 2024, 1290 children answered the Children’s Commissioner survey and provided their views on break/ play times in schools.
96% of children said they enjoyed play/break time
95% said play/break time was important
46% of children reported having to miss their play/break time
