Person in Charge – Dylan’s Den, Rhondda Cynon Taf

Hours: 16.25 hours per week, Monday – Friday, during term time & school holidays (after school hours) 

Salary: Starting at minimum wage or higher, depending on qualifications and age.  

Qualifications / experience required:  

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team in the post of After School Club Play Leader. Recent experience of working in play setting is essential and must hold a minimum Level 3 play qualification plus a minimum 2 years’ experience. We are looking for a team player with excellent interpersonal skills to fit in with our happy, busy setting. 

Have sound knowledge of play principles, working safely with children and managing a staff team. 

Previous experience in a play setting with children aged 3 – 11 years is desirable.  

Description of duties: To manage the day-to-day management of Dylan’s Den  5 days a week termtime 2.45 to 6pm or longer if needed, with flexibility to work additional hours at Dragon Tots and Holiday Club, be available to attend training and meetings outside of these hours.
