Hours: 12- 16 hours per week. Monday – Thursday, term time.

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Qualifications / experience required:

Level 2 or 3 qualification in Playwork (or willing to work towards)

Welsh speaker (support available to learners)

Ability to drive is desirable but not essential

Description of duties:

• Collect children safely from local school and walk them to the club
• Provide high-quality play and care for children in a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment
• Ensure a range of fun, age-appropriate resources are available throughout the session (indoors and outdoors)
• Support children’s individual needs, interests, and development through play
• Help children develop independence, confidence, and social skills
• Follow the setting policies at all times
• Build positive relationships with parents/carers, sharing information in a friendly and professional manner.
• Contribute to the planning, organisation, and evaluation of the club’s activities.
• Assist with setting up, tidying away, and maintaining equipment and resources.
• Attend staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
