Easter, an important time in the Christian calendar, when Christians remember the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. 

Activity ideas 

• Set up a home for the Easter Bunny – include brown or dark material within a pop up tent to create a burrow with rabbits, baskets, pretend eggs and rabbit ears. 

• Play Water Balloon “Egg” Toss – split children into pairs who toss water balloon “eggs” back and forth. When someone pops an egg, their team is out — and soggy! 

• Have an egg and spoon race. 

• Have an Easter egg hunt. Use clues for children who enjoy a bit more of a 

• challenge. 

• Make Easter cards. 

• Have an Easter bunny lunch box – prepare salads using different types of lettuce. Include celery and carrot sticks and taste with a selection of dips. Finish off with carrot cake or fruit.
