We are delighted to announce that nominations are now open for the Out of School Childcare Awards 2026!

This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate 25 years as an organisation – and to mark this milestone, we will be hosting our first-ever in-person awards event at the Holiday Inn Cardiff.

Do you know:

• A Playworker who consistently delivers outstanding play and care?
• A Manager or Committee who prioritises staff wellbeing and mental health?
• A club that champions inclusive practice or children’s right to play?

✨ New for 2026: The Wendy Hawkins Community Impact Award

Awarded to an Out of School Childcare Club that has gone above and beyond in their community – supporting families and building meaningful community connections.

Nominations can be made by children (with adult support), parents/carers, Playworkers, clubs, local authority staff, or other professionals working with children. You can submit as many nominations as you like!
