Hours: 12.5 hours Monday – Friday, during term time (after school hours) 

Salary: £12.71 – £13.71 

Qualifications / experience required: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team in providing a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children. As a Play Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting children’s development through play, ensuring their well-being while fostering creativity and social skills. This position requires a passion for working with children and the ability to manage various activities that promote learning and fun. Essential requirements.

Level 3 in Playwork.

• Experience working with children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
• Leadership/management experience in Childcare/playwork setting.
• Excellent understanding of Safeguarding Procedures in Wales.
• Understanding of CIW regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Enhanced DBS check

Description of Duties: 

• Act as a Deputy Leader in line with CIW regulations
• Oversee day-to-day running of After School Club
• Support and manage staff in absence of Manager
• Ensure a safe, inclusive environment at all times
• Build positive relationships with parents/carers
