Article of the Month – Article 31: Children have the right to relax and play
We encourage all clubs to think about and reflect upon each child’s rights and this month ensuring they are accessing their right within Article 31.
How are you supporting the child’s right to play and rest within your Out of School Childcare Club?
Think about your environment:
We have especially found that within hot and extremely sunny days, children want to be able to rest if they are too hot, which can also cause extreme fatigue within children and adults alike.
Think about your outdoor space:
Is there room for quiet reflection, exploring nature and relaxing when individuals want or need to at the end of the day?
Do you have any suggestions that can be shared with us and other clubs? We are happy to share your learning or experiences within our bulletins or Y Bont newsletter, get in touch at info@clybiauplantcymru.org if you want to share with us.
