Salary: £13.00 per hour 

Qualifications / experience required: The following experience/qualifications would be desirable: 

• A relevant playwork or childcare qualification. 
• Previous experience working with children in a childcare, playwork, education or similar setting. 
• Paediatric First Aid qualification. 
• Safeguarding training or experience. 
• Basic Welsh language skills. 

Description of Duties: 

• Providing attentive, caring and inclusive support to children aged 4–11. 
• Supervising children and ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times. 
• Planning and supporting fun, age-appropriate play activities. 
• Encouraging children’s creativity, independence and social development. 
• Building positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues. 
• Following Clwb Cariad’s safeguarding, health and safety and other policies and procedures. 
• Supporting children with a range of needs and abilities in an inclusive manner. 
• Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment. 
• Communicating effectively with the wider team and reporting any concerns appropriately.
