Dear Cwlwm partners,

We wrote to you on 19 March to let you know that we were planning to introduce GOV.UK One Login as the authentication method for new Childcare Offer for Wales service users from mid April.

I am pleased to confirm that we will be going live with this functionality for new service users from 00:01 a.m. Monday, 14 April.

New service users may be childcare providers registering their setting with the Childcare Offer for the first time; new staff joining a childcare provider; or new parents applying for the Offer. These users will be guided to create new GOV.UK One Login accounts, or use existing GOV.UK One Login accounts if applicable, when signing up to the Childcare Offer.

As explained in our previous communication, service users already using the Childcare Offer will be offered the option of migrating to GOV.UK One Login from 5 May. We will be in touch nearer the start of the migration period with messaging that we would be very grateful for your help in sharing in order to support the sector with this change.
