IPA – 31 minutes for International Day of Play

The International Day of Play is fast approaching, and the IPA (International Play Association) are calling on all schools to join the Play 31 Challenge on 11 June.

Inspired by Article 31 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, schools are encouraged to allow 31 extra minutes for play in the school day. This presents a great opportunity to raise the profile of Article 31 rights with schools and with children themselves as rights holders.

How can you encourage more play for children in your setting and your community?
