As the the consultation is launched we strongly encourage Out of School Childcare providers to join us to discuss the following proposals and the impact of these changes on your services and sector:

  • Welsh Government’s proposed changes under the Draft Child Minding and Day Care Exceptions (Wales) Order 2026 (when providers are not required to register) and;
  • a proposed Voluntary Approval Scheme for exempt childcare, playwork, and activity providers.
