The Children, Young People and Education Committee held an inquiry into childcare and education access for disabled children and young people and the extent to which childcare providers, schools and local authorities meet their duties under the Equality Act 2010.

The Committee’s report entitled ‘Do disabled Children and Young People have equal access to education and childcare?’ was debated in Plenary on 13^th November, you can watch it on Senedd TV or read the Transcript. They will closely monitor this report and will keep doing what they can do to fight for equal access to childcare and education throughout this Senedd and beyond.
