Change is coming and you can take action now!

From 30 September when you sign into your Childcare Offer for Wales account you will need to move from Government Gateway to GOV.UK One Login.  At that point you will not be able to opt to ‘do this later’.

However, you can make the change now.  To do this, sign in as you usually would here: Providers sign in to your Childcare Offer for Wales account | GOV.WALES

You will then be presented with a screen entitled ‘How you sign in to Childcare Offer for Wales is changing’.

This screen provides two sign in options: Government Gateway or GOV. UK One Login. As you have not yet moved your Childcare Offer account to GOV. UK One Login, please select the option:

From there, please follow the steps to move your account to GOV. UK One Login.

Tips for a smooth changeover:

• When moving over to UK One Login, it will be important that each member of staff in your setting has their own unique email address for the purposes of signing in. This is a requirement of GOV.UK One Login. Further information is available on the web page Get help using GOV.UK One Login with the Childcare Offer for Wales | GOV.WALES
• If you have more than one Government Gateway account linked to the Childcare Offer for Wales, you will be able to move each of these accounts to UK One Login as long as a different email address is used for each account.
• If you have more than one Government Gateway account linked to the Childcare Offer for Wales and you use the same email address for each of these Government Gateway accounts, you will need to either have a unique email address ready for each account when you move across to UK One Login, or consolidate all of the accounts into one. For help with this, contact the Childcare Offer for Wales helpline on 03000 628 628, and select the option for help with signing in
