Brief Overview

This is a great introductory course to Playwork, with a good mixture of both practical and theory based information. There are no qualification entry requirements as long as you are over the age of 16. This course is especially beneficial for those working in Holiday clubs as it will qualify you at Level 2. If you work in any other Playwork setting you will need to progress to the Level 2 Certificate to be counted as a qualified member of the team.

With both face to face and online learning you will benefit from the best of both worlds through blended learning. You will also receive a visit from your Training Officer who will give you individualised tuition and observe your practice.

• Completion of workbooks
• Attend Face to Face and online sessions
• Log Practice Hours at playwork setting (minimum of 20)
• Be observed in a Playwork setting
