Funding is now available for voluntary and community organisations making a difference across Bridgend County Borough. 

Bridgend Association of Voluntary Organisations (BAVO) has launched its Make a Difference Grant Programme 2026, with a total funding pot of £100,000 available over three rounds during 2026–27. 

Eligible voluntary and community organisations can apply for: 

• Micro Grants of up to £500 – ideal for smaller projects, community activities, events and one-off purchases. 

• Main Grants of up to £3,000 – for larger projects and activities that will deliver clear benefits for local people and communities. 

Funding can support a wide range of activities and costs, including community projects, equipment, volunteer expenses, training, venue hire, events, environmental and cultural activities, repairs and maintenance, energy costs and project delivery. 

Applications for the current round close at 12 noon on 6 October 2026. 

Organisations interested in applying are encouraged to check the full eligibility criteria and application guidance before submitting an application.
