Funding Opportunities
We are delighted to share with you some funding opportunities. Don’t forget that we can support you in completing applications, so please get in touch if you need our help!
Through our CYMell project we aim to support unregistered Welsh medium and bilingual Out of School Childcare settings, like yourselves, to become CIW registered allowing you to support the Welsh language. You will also be able to offer more affordable childcare to support families, allowing parents and carers to return to work or training by enabling settings to deliver The Childcare Offer and Tax-Free Childcare.
Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) Registration Grant
A £1000 grant is is now available from Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs with funding from Welsh Government from April 2025 through to March 2026 to support Welsh / bilingual settings with the costs associated with submitting a CIW registration application and gain registration; it will also support the expansion of existing cylchoedd provision to offer out of school childcare for children up to the age of 12.
If you are interested in applying for the CIW Registration Grant or would like to find out more about how CYMell can support your setting, please get in touch with the relevant member of our team:
North Wales: elliwp@clybiauplantcymru.org
South Wales: meganm@clybiauplantcymru.org
West Wales: meganp@clybiauplantcymru.org
We’d be happy to talk through the support available and help you understand how CYMell could support your setting on its journey towards CIW registration.
